Helen is our stellar winemaker. She has been crafting our range of wines since 2003. Helen is passionate about wine and, with her husband Ben, farms their Masters Vineyard.
Clive and Phyll, co-owners of Ata Rangi. Clive now fills his days with conservation work and tree planting at the Bush Block. He serves on numerous conservation trusts. Phyll has eased out of day-to-day work at Ata Rangi after 30 years of growing the business, she is a keen mountain biker and enjoys hiking.
Ali is co-owner of Ata Rangi and general manager. She has a great eye for design and collecting all things green.
Vanessa, Clive’s eldest daughter, heads up the cellar door and is our events manager. Having grown up amongst the vines, she eased her way back into the wine world about 15 years ago, returning to her home ground of Ata Rangi in 2018.
Ian is our vineyard manager. New to Ata Rangi and Martinborough, he brings vast viticultural experience and relishes the challenge of adapting his skills to varieties grown at Ata Rangi.
Harriet is our much-loved supervisor of the labour team out in the field. She loves to keep the crew going and entertained all at the same time. She has a firm focus on quality outcomes which is indispensable for Ata Rangi.
Eleanor is our operations and logistics guru. She manages all mail-order deliveries and, with her meticulous service, has become well-known to our mail order customers over the past 17 years.
Huia is our bubbly vineyard supervisor. Her Iwi are Ngāti Porou and Te Whānau-ā-Apanui. Huia is a great people person and has a special place in her heart for all animals.
A.K.A ‘ the pay lady’ Helen looks after our admin side of the business. She has a great sense of fun and can always be relied upon for a good laugh.
Julia is our cellar door host. Julia loves learning about wine which enhances her talent for explaining our wines and philosophy here at Ata Rangi.
