Tastings at Ata Rangi work on a booking-only basis, 7 days a week most of the year.

You can enjoy an intimate experience located in our original rustic winery, exploring our history, the local industry, the climate and soils (terroir) that create distinctiveness in the wines of the region and, of course, sample a range of our wines.

There are two tasting sessions per day, at 11:00am and 2:00pm, subject to availability.

Especially during weekends, places can fill up quickly – most often over the summer. In winter, bookings can be made much closer to the time, and potentially on the day.

Allow about an hour to an hour and a half. To book, email visit@atarangi.co.nz with your name, day/s and time/s of choice, and we’ll be back in touch to confirm your booking. There will be no charge for a booked visit, though you’re welcome to purchase wine to take away, or arrange to have shipped to you (country dependent).

The Wine Shop is open each day for wine purchases from 10am – 4pm. Our wines can also be purchased at Martinborough Wine Merchants on Kitchener Street in the township.
